Job summary

Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) is looking for a Senior Quality Compliance Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of AKI’s Quality Management System and compliance framework across the group.

The role ensures that quality systems, SOPs, and controlled documents are maintained and aligned with regulatory, certification, customer, and business requirements, while coordinating audits, CAPA, risk assessments, and cross-functional process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality, science, engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–12+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality management systems, or quality compliance.
• Hands-on experience with QMS, SOP development, document control, audits and CAPA.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 22000, HACCP, ISO 14001/45001 and GDP is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including supply chain and operations.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, update, and maintain SOPs, policies, forms, and process documents.
• Coordinate with process owners to manage version control, approvals, and archiving.
• Conduct gap and risk assessments and track remediation actions.
• Lead internal, external, supplier, customer, and certification audits.
• Lead CAPA processes, audit responses, and supplier/customer questionnaires.
• Oversee SOP training and awareness after changes.
• Generate KPIs, dashboards, and management reports for quality performance.
• Support cross-functional projects with quality guidance and compliance.
