Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Executive – Quality Management System (QMS) to lead and continuously improve our HSE, quality, and regulatory compliance across UAE locations. The role collaborates with operations teams to support audits, risk management, and performance monitoring to ensure safe, compliant logistics operations.

The ideal candidate will develop and maintain integrated HSE systems, conduct audits, and drive CAPA with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent degree in any field.
• 5-6 years in freight forwarding, transportation, delivery operations, field supervision, warehousing, or logistics operations.
• Minimum 2-3 years supervising field executives, delivery teams, transport vendors or customer-site operations.
• Industry exposure - Freight forwarding, airfreight operations, last-mile delivery, white glove delivery, warehousing, project logistics, data-center / high-value cargo operations.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: HSE management systems implementation and regulatory compliance management.
• Health, safety, environmental, and quality management system administration.

Responsibilities

• HSE Management Systems & Compliance - Develop, implement, and maintain integrated HSE Management Systems in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws, occupational safety requirements, Civil Aviation regulations, and JAFZA/DP World HSE standards.
• Operational Safety & Risk Management - Conduct risk assessments (RA) and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for warehousing, cargo handling, freight forwarding, transportation, and logistics operations.
• Incident Investigation & Corrective Actions - Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, perform root cause analysis, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Training, Awareness & Competency Development - Design and deliver HSE induction programs, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions; maintain certifications.
• Emergency Preparedness & Response - Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plans (ERP), coordinate fire drills and evacuation exercises, liaise with Civil Defence, Dubai Municipality, and JAFZA.
• Environmental Management & Sustainability - Implement environmental management initiatives focused on waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
• Multi-Site HSE Coordination - Oversee HSE compliance across Dubai Head Office, Cargo Village, and Jebel Ali Free Zone warehouses.
• Performance Monitoring, Reporting & Continuous Improvement - Maintain HSE dashboards and KPIs, prepare management reports, drive continuous improvement.
