Job summary

Stantec is seeking a QAQC Civil Engineer to support projects across stormwater, drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks and water distribution. The role includes planning, design, tendering, contract administration and construction supervision.

Based in Ras Al Khaimah with UAE work locations, you will lead QA/QC activities and coordinate with supervision consultants. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years in QAQC for utilities/infrastructure, strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
Professional certifications in quality management and auditing are preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in QAQC, preferably in utilities and infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate with project stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Monitor and report on quality performance metrics.
Lead quality inspections and ISO audits for all projects.
Review and approve contractors QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and method statements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
