Job summary

L. Leon Virtual Assistance is seeking a Senior Purchase Price Allocation Specialist to lead PPA assessments arising from acquisitions and strategic investments.

The role requires expertise in identifying and valuing assets and liabilities, applying IFRS 3, and coordinating with finance and valuation teams while working remotely from the UAE. The candidate will develop valuation models, review assumptions, and support financial reporting disclosures related to business combinations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance or related field.
• Master's degree is an advantage for deeper valuation work.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CFA) are desirable.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 3 and IAS 38 related to PPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead PPA analyses for business combinations and acquisitions.
• Analyze consideration transferred and closing adjustments.
• Identify tangible and intangible assets and liabilities.
• Value intangible assets (brands, customer relationships, tech, software).
• Apply valuation methods (DCF, relief-from-royalty, excess earnings).
• Develop and review valuation models and supporting schedules.
• Assess deferred taxes and goodwill allocation.
• Prepare technical accounting papers and reports.
