Job summary

L. Leon Virtual Assistance in the UAE is seeking a Senior Purchase Price Allocation Specialist to manage PPA analyses arising from acquisitions and business combinations. This 100% remote position requires IFRS knowledge and strong financial modelling.

Based in the UAE, you will collaborate with finance, corporate development, valuation, accounting, and transaction advisory teams to deliver accurate valuation analyses and reporting documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/ACA/CFA) are highly desirable.
• Master's degree in finance or business valuation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate PPA assessments for acquisitions and business combinations.
• Analyze transaction structures, consideration transferred, and closing adjustments.
• Identify acquired tangible and intangible assets and liabilities.
• Evaluate recognition of identifiable intangibles (brands, relationships, tech).
• Apply valuation methodologies: income, market, cost approaches.
• Develop and review valuation models (DCF, relief-from-royalty, etc.).
• Assess useful lives, royalty rates, and other valuation assumptions.
• Prepare technical papers and valuation reports for disclosures.
• Coordinate with external advisers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor IFRS 3, IAS 38, IAS 12, IAS 36 implications.
