Job summary

EDGE, based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Senior Specialist Project Planner through Beacon Red to own and maintain complex project schedules across multi-disciplinary teams. You will coordinate with senior project managers, engineers and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery through the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• 4–7 years’ experience in project planning/scheduling, ideally in defence, aerospace, C4ISR, or other mission-critical environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (building, baselining and updating complex schedules).
• Good understanding of project management concepts (WBS, critical path, dependencies, baselines, earned value is a plus).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; comfortable working with data and timelines.
• Excellent communication skills in English; able to work with multidisciplinary and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules and track project cost for C4ISR projects.
• Break down work into tasks, durations and dependencies with project managers and engineers.
• Track progress against key milestones and critical path; highlight delays and risks early.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations and commercial teams to keep timelines realistic and current.
• Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards and “what-if” scenarios for management.
• Support change control, resource planning and risk/issue management from a schedule perspective.
