AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Architect - Interior Design to support construction supervision and architectural delivery in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role oversees the implementation of architectural and interior design requirements on large-scale projects, ensuring construction activities remain aligned with approved designs, technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
• Membership in a recognized professional institution (PE/ Peng or CEng) preferred.
• LEED GA or LEED AP certification would be an advantage.
• Role requires experience across architectural design implementation, construction supervision, and project administration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities to ensure alignment with approved architectural designs and technical specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits for architectural and interior design works.
• Verify compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and UAE standards.
• Prepare and review construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
• Manage design-related construction issues and coordinate change orders with contractors and clients.
• Lead and mentor construction supervision teams and coordinate between design, construction, consultants, clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to support timely delivery.
