Job summary

AERTEC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead airfield projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires overseeing multidisciplinary teams to ensure design, coordination, and delivery meet high safety, quality, and performance standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating civil, AGL, fuel hydrant, drainage, utilities, electrical, and ICT disciplines, while maintaining schedule, budget, and scope. Strong leadership and English communication are essential, with Arabic a plus.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in project management.
• 8+ years in airside or airport infrastructure projects.
• PMP certification required.
• Experience in the Middle East preferred.
• Strong technical and managerial leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate civil, AGL, fuel hydrant, drainage, utilities, electrical, and ICT design and management.
• Ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Run design progress meetings, workshops, and Value Engineering sessions.
• Maintain project reporting, risk registers, and phasing plans.
• Ensure compliance with ICAO Annex 14, GCAA CAR IX, FAA ACs, and UAE regs.
• Serve as the main liaison between AERTEC, clients, and stakeholders.

The selected candidate will manage a multidisciplinary technical team and ensure that all design, coordination, and delivery activities meet the highest international standards for safety, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all survey, design, and technical management activities across civil, AGL, fuel hydrant, drainage, utilities, electrical, and ICT disciplines.
• Ensure project delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Conduct design progress meetings, stakeholder workshops, and Value Engineering sessions.
• Manage project reporting, risk registers, and phasing plans.
• Oversee compliance with ICAO Annex 14, GCAA CAR Part IX, FAA ACs, UAE regulations, etc

Act as the primary point of contact between AERTEC, client, and stakeholders

Job Requirement:

• Civil Engineering preferred.
• 12+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years in airside or airport infrastructure projects.
• PMP certification.
• Strong technical and managerial leadership skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Arabic language skills will be considered an advantage.
• Proven experience in team management, project planning, and stakeholder coordination.
• Prior experience in the Middle East is highly desirable.
