Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Project HSE Lead to oversee all HSE activities across the full project lifecycle, from ASSESS to EXECUTE, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and international best practices. You will act as the focal point for HSE performance, drive audit programs, and support informed decision-making.

You will establish project HSE plans, manage risk assessments (HAZID/HAZOP), lead incident investigations, ensure contractor HSE alignment, and embed safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering and 8+ years in oil and gas project engineering.
• Strong leadership and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Proactive risk identification and mitigation.
• Experience implementing ADNOC HSE standards and procedures.
• Effective contractor HSE management and interface coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all project-related HSE activities across the full lifecycle (ASSESS to EXECUTE).
• Establish, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE Plans aligned with scope and risk.
• Oversee HSE audits and ensure timely closure of findings with corrective actions.
• Lead HSE incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Ensure HSE requirements are embedded in procurement specifications and vendor deliverables.
• Interact with Operations, Engineering, licensors, vendors, and EPCs to maintain HSE alignment.
