Job summary

ADNOC Group in Dubai seeks an experienced HSE Engineer – Project Safety Management to provide governance across design, FEED, construction and commissioning, ensuring HSE requirements are embedded in all stages. The role emphasizes risk reduction, regulatory compliance, audits, and contractor performance, with strong focus on HSE management systems and incident investigation.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8+ years in safety, with excellent English and familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 8+ years in safety engineering.
• Experience with HSE management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Experience supporting major oil and energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Review project work environments and identify hazards across chemical, physical, biological, ergonomic and occupational health and safety domains.
• Develop programs, procedures, controls and work practices to prevent injury and environmental impact.
• Conduct project inspections and verify compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Supervise HSE personnel and coordinate unit activities against objectives.
• Develop HSE scopes of work for consultants, contractors and service providers.
• Verify Environmental Management Systems comply with HSEIA, EIA and Codes of Practice.
