Job summary

ADNOC Group seeks an experienced Project HSE Lead to manage all HSE activities across the full lifecycle of oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and international best practices.

You will lead HSE studies, audits, contractor oversight, incident investigations, and risk mitigation, coordinating with Operations, Engineering, and external stakeholders to drive a proactive HSE culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• 8+ years in project engineering in oil & gas.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive risk identification, assessment, and mitigation per ADNOC standards.
• Contractor HSE management across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HSE activities for projects across all lifecycle phases (ASSESS to EXECUTE).
• Establish, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE Plans aligned with scope and risk.
• Monitor HSE performance via reporting, audits, and reviews for informed decisions.
• Lead HSE audits and ensure timely closure of findings with corrective actions.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance within project scope and regulatory requirements.
• Lead HSE incident investigations and implement root cause remedial actions.
• Ensure ADNOC HSE specs and codes are applied across all phases.
• Support leadership site visits and ensure alignment with HSE objectives.
• Drive HSE awareness and communication within project teams.
