Job summary

HR Engine L.L.C-FZ is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support onshore ADNOC EPC construction activities in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on coordinating engineering workstreams, ensuring alignment with project objectives, schedules, and ADNOC standards, and providing technical input to multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering, has 10+ years in Oil & Gas EPC projects, and must have prior ADNOC Onshore experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, construction or industrial projects.
• Prior ADNOC Onshore project experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of engineering activities across the project.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, construction, project management, procurement, and other functions.
• Review deliverables and assist in resolving technical issues during project execution.
• Monitor progress and support delivery in line with schedules and milestones.
• Ensure activities comply with project specs, standards, and ADNOC requirements.
• Interface management between engineering, construction, vendors, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Participate in technical reviews, coordination meetings and progress discussions.
• Support site activities with engineering clarification and input as required.
• Identify and resolve project risks, constraints, and delays from engineering perspective.
• Maintain project engineering documentation and reporting.

Our client, an EPC contractor working on an ADNOC onshore project, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support the execution of an onshore construction project.

The role will involve coordinating engineering activities, supporting project delivery, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure engineering requirements are aligned with project objectives, schedules, and ADNOC standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering activities across the project.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, construction teams, project management, procurement, and other relevant functions.
• Review engineering deliverables and support resolution of technical issues during project execution.
• Monitor engineering progress and support delivery in line with project schedules and milestones.
• Ensure engineering activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, applicable standards, and ADNOC requirements.
• Support interface management between engineering, construction, vendors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Participate in technical reviews, coordination meetings, and progress discussions.
• Support site activities and construction teams with engineering clarification and technical input where required.
• Assist in identifying and resolving project risks, technical constraints, and engineering-related delays.
• Maintain appropriate project engineering documentation and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, EPC, construction, or industrial projects.
• Previous ADNOC Onshore project experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Good understanding of engineering coordination and project execution within an EPC environment.
• Experience supporting onshore construction projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineering, construction, procurement, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Arabic speakers will be considered an advantage.

Candidate Profile

• The ideal candidate will be an experienced project engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas EPC projects, particularly onshore developments, and previous exposure to ADNOC Onshore projects. The candidate should be comfortable working across multiple engineering disciplines and supporting project execution from an engineering coordination perspective.
