Job summary

ADNOC Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead project engineering activities across the full lifecycle—from concept through commissioning and handover. You will coordinate with engineering disciplines, contractors, licensors, vendors, and operations teams to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery of projects.

The role requires at least 8 years of experience in oil & gas project engineering, strong leadership, and proactive risk mitigation in line with ADNOC VAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• At least 8 years experience in project engineering in an oil and gas industry.
• Strong ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary project engineering activities.
• Effective control of project execution, contractors, and technical deliverables.
• Proactive identification and mitigation of engineering and project risks.
• Consistent adherence to ADNOC VAP, standards, and governance requirements.
• Strong coordination between Engineering, Projects, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute project engineering activities across the full project lifecycle from concept to handover.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, Central Engineering, contractors, licensors, vendors and operations teams to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery.
• Review contractor engineering deliverables, construction methodologies and execution plans; monitor progress and address bottlenecks.
• Lead value engineering and technical workshops to optimize project outcomes.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning activities, and handover to operations.
