Job summary

ISG Middle East in Dubai seeks a hands-on supervisor to interpret instructions, plan and schedule labour, material and equipment, and maintain safe and compliant work sites while coordinating between implementation and execution teams.

You will supervise construction activities, coordinate outside contractors, estimate resources, and drive on-time delivery of temporary and permanent works, always prioritising health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Interpret instructions and related information into meaningful work.
• Check and sign work orders and review work plan
• Plan & schedule labour, material and equipment efficiently and within set time frames.
• Maintain effective lines of communication between the implementation and execution functions.
• Maintain and enforce a safe working environment.
• Supervise and coordinate training activities
• Supervise and participate in the planning, laying out, construction, repair and assembly of temporary and permanent buildings, additions, partitions and wood structures and fixtures.
• Plan and schedule work for the group ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning, space and facilities.
• Estimate time, cost and supplies required for projects.
• Direct any rework or modification.
• Conduct periodic inspections, determine needs; establish and coordinate program schedules
• Ensure that all equipments are safely used.
• Coordinate and direct outside contractors and vendors as required.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
