Job summary

ISG Middle East is seeking a site-focused supervisor to manage a section of works on a construction project in the UAE. You will lead a team of tradesmen, organize subcontractor workforces, and oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and safety officers, recruit necessary staff before initiation, and supervise temporary site facilities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of UAE construction sector experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a section of works and lead a team of tradesmen to complete projects safely and on time.
• Organize and manage diverse subcontractor workforce larger than five people.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations of a building construction project, potentially leading a sub-team.
• Recruit and assemble necessary staff (tradesmen, architects, engineers, surveyors, health and safety officers, admin) before project start.
• Supervise and organize temporary site facilities (offices, toilets, catering).
• Ensure team safety and monitor progress to meet deadlines; develop solutions when timelines slip.
• Manage the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety System and liaise with the HS&E Officer.
• Oversee all HS&E checks, reports and incidents.
