Job summary

Gensler in Dubai seeks a numerate Project Coordinator to support large, multidisciplinary design projects across the Middle East. You will ensure the quality and organization of project information and contractual documents from concept through construction, and manage entry to EDM systems.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of architecture or design firm experience, strong document control skills, and proficiency with EDM such as Aconex.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project coordination or administrative experience in an architecture or design firm.
• Experience with ISO 9001 standards essential, BIM Level-2 information management experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Proven knowledge of using and configuring EDM Systems including Aconex is essential.
• Proficient in InDesign.
• Strong leadership, organisational, communication and relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop document control programs with internal and external teams to implement efficient delivery of information packages from Concept to Construction.
• Being the point of contact for clients, consultants and internal management for project information auditing and sourcing.
• Implementing thorough QA/QC procedure on all information being transmitted to the client and liaising with internal and external teams to follow up on client responses.
• QA/QC all incoming information and ensure all information complies with project protocol and standards.
• Prepare and maintain project record files and manage essential project forms (RFIs, correspondences, submittals).
• Training internal and external project team members on project specific EDM system and protocols.
