Job summary

WSP Middle East seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex multi-disciplinary projects within the IDD business. You will drive performance across planning, design management, delivery, and client handover, ensuring quality, commercial success, and stakeholder satisfaction.

The role suits a seasoned professional with 20+ years delivering large aviation, airport, transportation, and mega-development projects, with extensive Middle East experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 20+ years of experience in project and programme management.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale aviation, airport, transportation, and mega-development projects.
• Extensive Middle East experience is highly desirable.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, APM or equivalent advantageous.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, commercial management, risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of major aviation, infrastructure, and mixed-use development projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary design and delivery teams across engineering, architecture, planning, and specialists.
• Act as primary client interface, maintaining relationships with clients, authorities, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Drive project governance, programme controls, risk management, and commercial performance.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Lead project reporting, resource planning, and financial management activities.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholder engagement to facilitate successful project outcomes.
• Mentor and develop project managers and technical teams within the business.
• Support business development activities, strategic pursuits, and client engagement initiatives.
• Champion WSP's culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
