Job summary

Etihad Energy Holding in Dubai, UAE, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations, develop strategies, ensure policy compliance, optimize costs, and maintain strong supplier relationships across the organisation. Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement experience;
• At least 3 years in a managerial position;
• Experience in UAE with Shipping, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Terminal Operations;
• Knowledge of maritime equipment, spare parts, chemicals, and service requirements;
• Strong understanding of procurement standards, logistics, HSSE, and local content regulations;
• Proficiency in drafting procurement policies and procedures;

Responsibilities

• Review and validate purchase requests for accuracy and budgeting compliance.
• Coordinate with department heads for PO reviews, approvals, and execution.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, regulations, and standards.
• Monitor budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report to management.
• Manage procurement documentation and records for audit purposes.
• Develop supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and reduce risks.
• Coordinate with Finance for payment processing and cost allocation.
• Support urgent procurement during operations, maintenance, or emergencies.
• Monitor market trends, inventory levels, procurement metrics, and savings initiatives.
• Develop procurement strategies, policies, procedures, and tracking systems.
• Prepare procurement reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
