Your responsibilities will include procuring electrical and MEP systems, conducting evaluations, and negotiating contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.

Senior Procurement Engineer – MEP Division

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer in the MEP Division with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and a strong track record of working with MEP contracting companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for MEP projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and subcontractors.
• Finalize and procure major electrical and MEP systems, including electrical installation subcontractors.
• Finalize ELV systems: CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Fire Alarm, BMS.
• Commission generator sets, lighting control systems, switchgears, transformers, LV panels, MDB, SMDB, DBCable management systems.
• Procure HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Procure plumbing, drainage materials.
• Procure fire fighting systems.
• Procure pumps and water supply systems.
• Identify, evaluate, and finalize subcontractors for electrical and MEP installations.
• Review project drawings, technical specifications and BOQ to determine procurement requirements.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and prepare detailed comparative statements.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations for procurement decision-making.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms to achieve project cost optimisation.
• Issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements per project requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for material approvals, delivery tracking, and dispatch documentation.
• Monitor procurement schedules and ensure materials are delivered as per project timelines.
• Maintain vendor database and conduct vendor evaluation and development for strategic procurement.
• Handle import/export documentation and logistics coordination when required.
• Work closely with project teams, estimation, and engineering departments to align procurement with project execution.

Qualifications
