Job summary

Confidential is seeking a procurement specialist for MEP materials in Dubai. You will source, evaluate, and procure mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials, equipment, and subcontract packages in line with project specs, budget, and timelines.

You will coordinate with project design and site teams to ensure timely delivery, cost optimization, and compliance with technical and contractual requirements, while monitoring market trends and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of procurement experience in MEP/Construction.
• Strong knowledge of MEP materials, UAE market, and supplier networks.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, BOQs, and specs to determine procurement requirements.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and evaluate offers.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Track deliveries and coordinate with site teams to avoid delays.
• Maintain procurement logs and vendor databases.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and value engineering.

• Support cost-saving initiatives and value engineering
• Monitor market trends, lead times, and supplier performance

Requirements:
