Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Senior Projects Engineer with a strong focus on Civil and Precast works in the UAE. You will manage precast erection activities, coordinate between design, production, QA/QC, and site teams, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of projects.

The role requires a Bachelor in Civil Engineering, 10+ years construction experience (8+ years UAE precast), and strong communication skills in English (Arabic preferred). Joining within 30 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of overall construction experience, including at least 8 years UAE experience in precast erection.
• Ability to read and interpret structural, shop and erection drawings.
• Knowledge of lifting, transportation, handling, positioning and installation of precast elements.
• Good understanding of QA/QC requirements and HSE procedures related to precast erection.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise precast concrete erection activities from mobilization through completion and handover.
• Plan and coordinate erection sequences for precast elements including columns, beams, wall panels, slabs, stairs and other structural elements.
• Review and interpret IFC, structural, shop, fabrication and erection drawings.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, design, production and site teams to ensure timely delivery and erection of precast elements.
• Verify site readiness, access, storage areas, lifting arrangements and installation requirements before erection.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, subcontractors and site teams for safe lifting and installation.
• Monitor project progress against the approved construction programme and prepare progress updates.
