Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Energy Management, or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certification in energy markets, finance, project development, or commercial management is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in commodity trading, energy trading, power markets, commercial management, or related field, ideally international.

Aufgaben

• Identify, originate and develop power trading opportunities with IPPs, utilities, mining, industrial customers and other market participants.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships to secure new business and strengthen partnerships.
• Monitor regional power markets (SAPP) to identify cross-border trading opportunities and expand regional presence.
• Negotiate and manage PPAs, PSAs, wheeling agreements and related commercial contracts.
• Lead commercial negotiations and oversee execution, performance, renewal and termination of power contracts.
• Undertake market research and financial modelling to inform trading and investment decisions.
