Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior Civil Inspector to oversee potable water distribution construction in Al Ain. You will inspect pipelines, valves, chambers, hydrants, and tie-ins, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and ITPs while coordinating with survey, QA/QC, and field teams.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering with 7+ years of on-site water infrastructure experience; UAE/GCC familiarity is preferred, and TAQA Water standards knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering with construction experience.
• 7+ years in infrastructure projects with water networks.
• Experience with potable water pipelines, valves and chambers.
• Knowledge of QA/QC, ITPs, and site drawings.
• UAE/GCC experience and TAQA Water familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect potable water pipeline installations and associated structures.
• Monitor excavation, shoring, dewatering, bedding and backfilling works.
• Verify compliance with drawings, specs and ITPs.
• Coordinate with survey team for alignments and levels.
• Witness pressure tests, flushing and water quality testing.
• Maintain inspection records and daily site reports.
