Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant UAE experience in interior fit-out or specialist contracting.
• Proficiency in CostX is mandatory, including digital measurement, quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation.
• Established UAE supplier and specialist subcontractor database is mandatory.
• Experience supervising a Junior Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong Excel skills for cost-control reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with UAE contracts, main-contractor procedures and commercial practices.
• Must be available in the UAE for in-person interview and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-contract commercial activities across multiple interior fit-out projects.
• Prepare and maintain project budgets, cost-control registers and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Monitor expenditure, forecast margins and profitability, identifying risks and overruns.
• Procurement of subcontractors and materials, RFQs, quotations, negotiations and PO issuance.
• Maintain UAE supplier/subcontractor database and supplier negotiations.
• Prepare procurement schedules aligned with budgets and programmes.
• Review and close subcontracts, purchase orders and commercial terms.
• Prepare interim payment applications with measurements and valuations.
• Provide weekly commercial reports covering budgets, variations and collections.
• Supervise and review Junior Quantity Surveyor work.
