Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned PMC Constructability Specialist to optimize engineering designs for safe, efficient construction and installation. You will embed constructability early in design and throughout execution, coordinating with disciplines and EPC teams.

The role requires deep experience in refinery projects, strong coordination, and a safety-first mindset, with regular site involvement in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years of refinery project experience.
• 5+ years in constructability or construction engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Constructability Program per ADNOC requirements.
• Review FEED and detailed deliverables for constructability and optimization.
• Coordinate with engineering, EPC contractors and construction teams.
• Evaluate construction methodologies, including heavy lifting, modularization, and site logistics.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across projects.
