The Senior Planning Engineer will provide technical and planning leadership across road and infrastructure projects from early assessment through design development and implementation. The position combines engineering knowledge with project planning, cost awareness, resource coordination and performance analysis to help keep complex infrastructure programs aligned with client objectives. The role also has a leadership dimension, requiring coordination with government agencies, contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary specialists. By reviewing technical outputs, evaluating project information and mentoring junior professionals, the engineer will help strengthen delivery quality while advancing sustainable and efficient infrastructure solutions.
Candidates should bring at least 8 years of professional experience in road and infrastructure planning, design or closely related project delivery responsibilities, with evidence of involvement in large-scale infrastructure projects. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is expected, together with practical experience using GIS platforms. Strong knowledge of road design standards, transportation systems and traffic engineering principles is important for evaluating planning and design requirements. The role requires solid project management capability covering scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, cost estimation and value engineering. Candidates should also be capable of interpreting complex engineering information and converting project data into practical recommendations. Knowledge of UAE infrastructure standards, local regulations and environmental requirements is particularly valuable. Previous Middle East project experience and a relevant professional engineering certification will be advantageous.
