Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai seeks a Project Planner & Scheduler to develop, monitor, and control project schedules for interior fit-out projects, ensuring timely execution through planning, progress tracking, delay analysis, and coordination with design, procurement, and site teams.

Responsibilities include creating baseline programs, tracking progress, preparing reports and dashboards, identifying delays, and supporting claims and coordination with PMs, engineers, procurement, and design.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed baseline programs using project scope and contract requirements.
• Prepare construction schedules covering design, procurement, and approvals; site execution and installation works; testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Define critical path activities and project milestones.
• Track daily/weekly/monthly project progress against baseline schedule.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves for management review.
• Identify delays and propose mitigation/recovery plans.
• Conduct delay analysis and prepare extension of time (EOT) supporting documents.
• Coordinate with project teams for documentation of delay events.
• Support commercial team in claims and variation submissions.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Design teams.
• Ensure alignment of design approvals, material delivery, and site execution with schedule.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and productivity rates.
• Support resource planning to meet project deadlines.
• Highlight resource gaps and bottlenecks.
• Track long-lead items and material procurement schedules.
• Monitor shop drawing and material submittal approvals.
• Ensure procurement timelines align with construction program.
• Maintain updated project schedules using planning software.
• Update baseline revisions and maintain revision history.
• Ensure proper documentation for audits and client reporting.
