Job summary

Nova International General Contracting is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer in the UAE to manage project planning, controls and performance reporting across contracting and PMC environments.

You will develop and validate schedules, monitor progress, review contractor programs, and provide independent planning advice to ensure project success and adherence to deadlines, budget, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Experience with façade systems in UAE desirable.
• Knowledge of curtain wall, cladding, glazing, waterproofing.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate project schedules from contractor and PMC perspectives.
• Review contractor programs for feasibility and accuracy.
• Establish planning standards, reporting structures, and project controls processes.
• Monitor project performance against baselines and identify delays.
• Analyze progress and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed reports for clients and senior management.
