Job summary

INTERMASS ENG. & CONT. CO. LLC in the UAE seeks a senior planning engineer to develop and maintain baseline and master project programmes, coordinating with design, procurement and construction teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 10–12 years total, 6+ UAE experience, villa/horizontal developments, AED 500 million+ projects, and expert proficiency in Primavera P6 for schedule control and recovery plans.

Job description

Develop and maintain strong baseline programmes detailed project schedules and master schedules strong in coordination with project requirements Prepare and update project programmes using strong Primavera P6 strong and or other planning tools Establish project strong WBS activities sequencing logic durations resources and milestones strong Monitor actual progress against the approved baseline and identify strong delays slippages and critical activities strong Prepare strong weekly and monthly progress reports strong dashboards S-curves and other planning reports for management Conduct strong critical path analysis strong and identify potential delays and their impact on project completion Review contractors and subcontractors programmes and ensure alignment with the approved strong master programme strong Analyse schedule performance and develop strong recovery programmes mitigation plans and acceleration strategies strong where required Coordinate with project managers consultants contractors procurement commercial design and construction teams to ensure timely project delivery Track strong engineering procurement construction testing commissioning and handover activities strong against planned dates Monitor strong procurement and material delivery schedules strong and assess their impact on project milestones Analyse strong Extension of Time EOT claims strong delay events and programme impacts providing planning input to the commercial claims team Maintain accurate records of strong baseline changes programme updates progress delays and schedule revisions strong Prepare strong look-ahead programmes strong and coordinate with site teams to ensure planned activities are achieved Identify schedule risks and provide strong early warnings and recommendations strong to project management Participate in progress meetings with consultants contractors and stakeholders and provide clear updates on strong programme status and key risks strong Ensure effective integration of strong design procurement construction and handover schedules strong Review planned versus actual strong manpower productivity and resource requirements strong and highlight potential impacts on project completion Support project management in developing strong project execution strategies and delivery timelines strong Lead and mentor junior planning engineers and ensure consistent planning and reporting practices across the project Ensure planning activities comply with strong project procedures contractual requirements and company standards strong Support the successful delivery of strong large-scale villa horizontal development projects within the UAE strong ensuring projects are delivered within the approved schedule

You can pair the above with your earlier requirements and add strong 10 12 years of overall experience strong including a minimum of strong 6 years of UAE experience strong Proven experience in strong villa horizontal development projects within the UAE strong Experience working on projects with a strong value exceeding AED 500 million strong Experience on projects in strong Sharjah strong is preferred Previous experience with strong Arada strong is preferred Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.10-12 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 6 years of UAE experience in project planning.Proven experience in large-scale villa/horizontal development projects within the UAE.Experience working on projects with a value exceeding AED 500 million.Strong hands-on expertise in Primavera P6 and construction planning methodologies.Strong knowledge of baseline programme development, progress monitoring, critical path analysis, recovery programmes, and schedule control.Proven experience in delay analysis, EOT assessments, and programme impact analysis.Strong understanding of construction sequencing, procurement, engineering, and project execution activities.Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, project managers, commercial teams, and other stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation measures.Excellent skills in progress reporting, dashboards, S-curves, look-ahead programmes, and management reporting.Sharjah project experience will be an advantage.Previous experience with Arada is highly preferred.Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to work independently and effectively manage planning requirements for complex, fast-paced projects.Candidates with strong UAE-based project delivery experience and a proven track record of completing projects on schedule will be preferred.
