Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, progress control and time-related claims support for major infrastructure works.
• Review baseline/updated programmes and support consent in line with contract conditions.
• Develop integrated master schedules and validate resource feasibility.
• Identify schedule risks, maintain trackers, and input to risk register.
• Analyze progress, delays, and recommend mitigation and recovery plans.
• Perform what-if and schedule impact analyses for changes/variations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and programme analyses.
• Assess EOT/disruption using delay analysis methods and demonstrate concurrent delays where applicable.
• Coordinate planning issues with contractors and stakeholders; attend meetings and record minutes.
• Maintain contemporaneous records and issue delay/slow-performance notifications.
• Lead and mentor planning team members as needed.

Senior Planning Engineer

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Planning Engineer to join our team! In this role you will lead planning, scheduling, progress control and time-related claims / EOT support for major infrastructure works, ensuring robust programme management and clear reporting to stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review contractor baseline and updated programmes and support the Engineer's consent in line with contract conditions and Parsons practices.
• Develop integrated master schedules and validate resource and schedule feasibility.
• Identify schedule risks/conflicts and maintain planning trackers/logs and inputs to the risk register.
• Analyze progress updates to identify delays/slippage, critical events, and recommend mitigation and recovery plans.
• Perform "what-if" and schedule impact analysis for changes/variations and potential events.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, programme analysis, and presentations against milestones.
• Assess claims including EOT/disruption using delay analysis methods (e.g., time impact analysis and window analysis) and demonstrate concurrent delay where applicable.
• Coordinate planning issues with contractors and stakeholders; attend meetings and prepare concise minutes.
• Maintain contemporaneous records; issue delay/slow-performance notifications when required.
• Lead and mentor planning team members as needed.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
