Job summary

Parsons is seeking a talented Planning Engineer to lead scheduling for major infrastructure and utility works in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will manage baselines, updates, interdependencies, and progress reports, while supporting time-related claims and EOT assessments for complex projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of planning and scheduling experience, plus strong Primavera P6 skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for infrastructure/utility projects.
• Strong Primavera scheduling capability.
• Experience supporting claims/EOT and delay analysis.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of high-rise buildings and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Review/approve contractor baseline and updated programmes per contract and Parsons practices.
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules with multi-package interdependencies.
• Analyze progress updates, identify delays, recommend mitigation actions.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards and milestone presentations.
• Support delay analysis for claims/EOT and maintain records/logs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders in meetings and respond to notices as required.

Planning Engineer (Building and Infrastructure)

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Engineer to join our team. In this role you will lead planning, scheduling and progress control activities for major infrastructure / utility works, including programme reporting and time-related claims/EOT support.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review and support approval of contractor baseline and updated programmes in line with contract conditions and Parsons practices.
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (multi-package), monitor interdependencies, and validate resource/schedule feasibility.
• Analyze progress updates, identify delays / slippage and critical events, recommend mitigation / corrective actions and changes / variations.
• Prepare weekly / monthly progress reports, programme analysis, dashboards and presentations against key milestones.
• Support claims/EOT assessments using delay analysis methods (e.g., TIA, window analysis) and maintain contemporaneous records and trackers/logs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders through progress/coordination meetings; support responses to contractor notices and issue schedule performance notices where required.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling relevant Infrastructure / Utility projects.
• Strong Primavera scheduling capability.
• Proven experience supporting claims/EOT and delay analysis.
• Excellent Communication and Reporting skills.
• Sound Knowledge of High rise Buildings and associated infrastructure works.
• Experience with working on complex projects
