Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Planning Manager (Infrastructure) in Abu Dhabi to lead the integrated master schedule across multi-package works, ensuring schedule integrity and timely change management.

You will review baselines, manage interdependencies, identify risks, prepare progress reports, and mentor planning engineers while coordinating with stakeholders to finalize contractor programmes and claims. GCC experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in planning and scheduling of infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, interfaces and coordination requirements.
• Proficiency in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor baseline and updated programs and support the Engineer's consent in line with contract conditions and Parsons practices.
• Develop and maintain the integrated master schedule across multiple packages and interdependencies; validate resource/schedule feasibility.
• Identify schedule risks/conflicts, maintain planning trackers/logs, and contribute to risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Analyze progress updates to identify delays/slippage and critical events; recommend mitigation and recovery actions and run what's-if scenarios.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, programme analysis, dashboards, and milestone presentations.
• Support time-related assessments including EOT/claims using delay analysis methods (time impact and window analysis).
• Lead planning coordination meetings, prepare concise minutes, and support responses to contractor notices using programme and contractual data.
• Agree the progress measurement system and KPIs, and coordinate finalization of contractor programmes, reports, and claims with stakeholders.
• Maintain contemporaneous records and issue schedule performance notices where required.
• Manage and mentor planning engineers, providing technical leadership and oversight.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Manager to join our team! In this role you will lead integrated programme planning across multi-package infrastructure works, ensuring schedule integrity, progress control, and time-related change/claims support.

What You’ll Be Doing

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years experience in planning and scheduling of infrastructure projects with multi-discipline scope (utilities, structures, landscape, etc.).
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, interfaces, and coordination requirements.
• Proficiency in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6.
