Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project and Microsoft Office is essential, with PMP and Primavera P6 certifications considered a plus; experience with ADNOC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of planning and cost control experience in Oil & Gas EPC.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office.
• Experience with ADNOC or major operator projects preferred.
• PMP and Primavera P6 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update project schedules.
• Establish baselines, resource plans, histograms and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor progress against schedules across disciplines.
• Perform cost control: budget monitoring, forecasting, variance analysis.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and KPI dashboards.
• Identify delays, overruns and risks; recommend corrective actions.
• Support EOT submissions and change orders.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, HSE and Commercial teams.
• Conduct schedule reviews and critical path analysis.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning and Cost Control Engineer to lead project planning scheduling progress monitoring cost control forecasting and reporting activities for Oil Gas EPC projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on schedule within budget and in compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6
• Establish project baselines resource plans manpower histograms and cash flow forecasts
• Monitor engineering procurement construction testing and commissioning progress against approved schedules
• Perform cost control activities including budget monitoring cost forecasting and variance analysis
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports dashboards and KPI reports for management and clients
• Identify schedule delays cost overruns and project risks and recommend corrective actions
• Support preparation and evaluation of claims variation orders and Extension of Time EOT submissions
• Coordinate with Engineering Procurement Construction QA QC HSE and Commercial teams to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Conduct schedule reviews critical path analysis and project performance assessments

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Planning and Cost Control for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Sound knowledge of project controls, cost management, earned value analysis, and project reporting.
• Experience working on ADNOC or other major Oil & Gas operator projects is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Primavera P6 Professional Certification.
• PMP Certification.
