Job summary

TASC Outsourcing in Dubai seeks a Senior Planner to lead project planning, scheduling and progress control across construction projects. You will own baseline schedules, critical path analysis, delay analysis and EOT support, and guide a team of planners to deliver projects on time.

Responsibilities include developing detailed schedules with Primavera P6 / MS Project, maintaining baselines, look-ahead planning, and preparing progress reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in planning and scheduling for construction, infrastructure or EPC projects.
• Expert in Primavera P6; good command of MS Project and MS Excel.
• Proven experience in baseline development, progress monitoring, delay analysis and EOT claims.
• Strong understanding of CPM, resource loading and earned value.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Establish baselines, critical paths, milestones and completion dates in line with contract requirements.
• Prepare short-, medium- and long-term plans, plus look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor actual progress against baseline and forecast completion dates; collect progress data from PMs, site engineers and subcontractors.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc progress reports, dashboards and schedule analyses.
• Carry out critical path analysis, delay analysis and EOT documentation.
• Assess the impact of variations, design changes, late approvals and site constraints on the programme.
• Develop recovery plans, mitigation strategies and contingency schedules.
• Track manpower, equipment, material and subcontractor requirements against the schedule.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commercial and subcontractor teams.
• Lead planning discussions in progress meetings and liaise with clients and consultants.
• Guide and review the work of junior planners and planning engineers.
• Implement standard planning procedures, templates and reporting formats.
• Escalate critical issues promptly and advise senior management on project performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical / Construction Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years in planning and scheduling for construction, infrastructure or EPC projects

• Proven experience in baseline development, progress monitoring, delay analysis and EOT claims
• Strong understanding of CPM, resource loading and earned value
