Job summary

The Senior Welding Engineer at McDermott Middle East Inc in Abu Dhabi leads welding discipline improvements and drives execution plans for complex fabrication projects. You will coordinate with customers, certifying bodies, and internal teams to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years directly related to Welding Engineering or Metallurgy/Materials in Fabrication/Construction.
• Experience with codes, standards and project requirements.
• Welding inspection qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Project Welding Execution Plan defining weld procedures and qualification needs.
• Coordinate with customer and certifying authorities for review and approval of procedures.
• Mentor welding engineers and guide day-to-day welding discipline activities.
