Job summary
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking an experienced Pipelines Engineer to develop, review and implement pipeline designs and related documents across projects in the UAE.
You will plan pigging operations, ensure compliance with HSE, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver safe, reliable facilities from design to handover.
The role requires strong knowledge of codes, corrosion and QA/QC, with hands-on experience in large industrial pipeline environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Material Science / Chemical Engineering or related professional qualification.
- 6 years of Pipelines Engineering experience with full HSE knowledge in a large industrial organization, preferably Oil & Gas.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline codes, standards and corrosion engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consultants/engineers’ designs meet scope and that facilities are safe, reliable, operable & maintainable.
- Review/approve pipeline design works, drawings, specs, data sheets and BOQs.
- Develop cost-effective engineering solutions to improve outputs across project lifecycles.
- Support plant change management through drawings, specs and data sheets.
- Provide technical support across all project phases from engineering to hand-over.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary engineering activities to meet company requirements.
- Plan and direct pigging operations and prepare monthly pigging schedule.
- Engage with corrosion/inspection groups for chemical injection and maintenance manuals.
