Job summary

Met T&S is seeking a Pipeline Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead pipeline design activities for proposals and projects, working with internal and subcontracted specialists. You will drive execution strategies, schedules, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and group document systems.

The role requires 10+ years in EPC within oil, gas and petrochemical sectors, with strong communication and project management skills to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
10+ years EPC experience in oil, gas & petrochemical industries.
Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate pipeline design during proposals and detailed engineering with internal/external specialists.
Prepare execution strategy and project schedule with the Project Team and Head of Department.
Ensure compliance with codes, procedures and group documentation within schedule and manhours limits.
Estimate materials and construction costs for pipeline activities.
Provide support to Project Stakeholders including Proposal/Project Managers, Project Control, Procurement, Subcontracting, Construction and Commissioning.
