Job summary

Lendable is seeking a skilled PHP engineer to build and integrate APIs that elevate the customer journey on our lending platform. You will work within a fast-moving fintech environment, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with a large engineering community to shape the product roadmap.

Ideal candidates have strong PHP 8+ experience, familiarity with Symfony or Laravel, and a solid track record in automated testing. Ownership and autonomy are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong modern PHP development experience (PHP 8.0+).
• Proficiency with modern PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
• Excellent automated testing skills (unit, integration, functional).
• High degree of ownership and autonomy.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design, Message-Driven Systems, or Event Sourcing is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and financial systems is a bonus.
