Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years building with Laravel.
• Strong PHP fundamentals: OOP, design patterns and best practices.
• Solid MySQL experience and query optimisation under load.
• Comfortable with Git and standard version control workflows.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications on Laravel. Design DB structures for high-load environments.
• Optimize performance and scalability via caching, indexing, and query tuning.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end frameworks.
• Build custom integrations with third-party services and gateways.
• Work with asynchronous processing, queues and event-driven patterns.
• Support deployment and server management across AWS or similar cloud environments.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews with feedback.
• Maintain documentation for applications and systems.
