Job summary

Eaton seeks an Advanced Quality Engineer PCBA to ensure PCBA quality meets Eaton standards across IQC through final shipment. The role drives ProLaunch, PPAP, SPC and PFMEA, and partners with Manufacturing to optimize performance and prevent defects.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in PCBA manufacturing/quality, strong IPC-A610/IPC-A600 knowledge, and a data-driven approach to quality improvement aligned with EATON safety and process excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in PCBA manufacturing engineering, production or quality.
• Strong knowledge of IPC-A610 Class3 and IPC-A600.
• Experience with NPI & ProLaunch, PPAP, PFMEA and control plans.

Responsibilities

• Secure application of quality systems in production and deploy standards across manufacturing.
• Investigate customer complaints using data-driven engineering to protect process quality.
• Lead ProLaunch readiness, risk assessment, and transfer phase activities with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain IQC/PCBA quality plans, tests, and inspection methods.
• Monitor KPIs (OEE, FPY, SPC) and drive corrective actions with Production and Tech teams.
