Job summary
Allocation Assist seeks a Consultant in Palliative Care to join our multidisciplinary team in Abu Dhabi. You will deliver comprehensive palliative and supportive care for patients with life-limiting illnesses, focusing on symptom relief, quality of life, and family support.
The role requires a Medical Degree, subspecialty in Palliative Care, and DOH Abu Dhabi licensure, with a minimum of 5 years post-board experience. Collaboration across specialties is essential for optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Medical degree and board-certified in palliative care or related specialty.
- Fellowship/subspecialty certification in palliative care.
- Eligibility for DOH Abu Dhabi licensure.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage palliative/end-of-life care.
- Develop individualized symptom management plans.
- Provide expert pain management and complex symptom control.
- Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead family meetings and goals-of-care discussions.
- Ensure continuity of care across care settings.
- Contribute to policies, quality improvement, and research.
- Teach and mentor physicians, residents, and staff.
