Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a Consultant Palliative Care Physician in Dubai, UAE, to provide advanced symptom control, compassionate care, and oncology supportive services for patients with life-limiting illnesses. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years post-board or fellowship consultant experience, UAE licensure eligibility, and strong skills in prognosis communication and advance care planning,

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of accredited specialty training in Palliative Medicine.
• Recognized fellowship or subspecialty certification in Palliative Care.
• Appropriate UAE Consultant license, eligibility, or ability to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with advanced, progressive, chronic, or life-limiting illnesses requiring specialist palliative care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on disease stage and patient preferences.
• Provide expert management of cancer-related and non-cancer pain.
• Coordinate symptom management and advance care planning.
• Lead discussions on goals of care with patients and families.
• Collaborate with oncology, internal medicine, nursing, psychology, social work, and rehabilitation teams.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care across settings.
