Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is recruiting a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Intervention in Dubai. The role focuses on acute and chronic pain, interventional procedures, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation to improve function and quality of life.

You will lead nerve blocks, epidural injections, and radiofrequency procedures, collaborating with orthopedic, neurosurgical, and oncology teams to tailor comprehensive treatment plans for complex pain conditions.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree with specialty residency completed.
• Fellowship or subspecialty in Pain Medicine is preferred.
• Board certification in the primary specialty and pain management.
• Valid UAE license or eligibility to obtain consultant licensing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations for acute and chronic pain.
• Develop individualized pain management plans based on diagnosis and goals.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nerve blocks and epidural injections.
• Use imaging guidance to improve procedural accuracy and safety.
• Coordinate care with Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Oncology, and Rehab.
• Educate patients and families on pain management strategies.
• Maintain accurate notes, medication plans, and follow-up records.
• Follow UAE regulations, infection control, and patient safety standards.
