Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking an experienced Consultant Pain Management specialist in Al Ain, UAE, to deliver specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment for acute and chronic pain conditions in a multidisciplinary hospital setting.

The role involves developing individualized treatment plans using pharmacological, interventional and non-pharmacological approaches and performing interventional procedures with image-guided techniques to improve pain control and function.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency programme in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology or a related specialty.
• Fellowship or Subspecialty Certification in Pain Management or Pain Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Board Certification in the relevant medical specialty and Pain Management.
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-board consultant experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using pharmacological, interventional and non-pharmacological approaches.
• Perform interventional pain procedures including nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation and joint injections.
• Collaborate with Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Oncology, Rehabilitation Medicine and Physiotherapy teams.
• Maintain medical records and document assessments, treatments and follow-up findings.
