Job summary

Walker Lovell is seeking a Senior Manager - Outsourcing to build a global supplier network within a major fertilizer business. The role centers on taking ownership of an outsourcing function, expanding coverage across MENA and Asia, and delivering against KPI-driven growth in collaboration with senior leadership.

You will develop relationships with producers and trading partners, shape the network autonomously, and travel internationally to key markets, including across Asia and the MENA region.

Qualifications

• Fertilizer trading or sourcing experience.
• Knowledge of nitrogen fertilizers and phosphate markets.
• Experience across MENA and/or Asia.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build a scalable third-party supplier network, initially across MENA region before expanding coverage throughout Asia and China.
• Develop relationships with fertilizer producers, suppliers and trading partners to unlock new sourcing opportunities.
• Shape the outsourcing network with the autonomy to recommend new agents, representation and resources where commercially justified.
• Collaborate closely with senior sales leadership against clear commercial KPIs and growth targets.

What You'll Bring

• Proven fertilizer trading or sourcing experience, ideally gained within a trading house.
• Strong knowledge of nitrogen fertilizers, alongside relevant exposure to phosphate markets.
• Existing market experience across MENA region and/or Asia, with the credibility to develop relationships in new regions.
• Commercially minded, entrepreneurial approach with the confidence to build networks and operate autonomously.
