Job summary

ECS ME in Dubai is seeking a senior Oracle DBA to lead database administration for Oracle Databases, EBS, and WebLogic in a regulated enterprise. You will manage patches, backups, performance tuning, and security compliance while coordinating with Application Support, Development, and IT teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, and Oracle Fusion Middleware, with a focus on reliability and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience as Oracle DBA with strong exposure to Oracle Applications and WebLogic.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Databases (12c/18c/19c) and Oracle EBS environments.
• Apply patches to Oracle RAC and EBS (R12.x) environments.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard.
• Monitor database health using OEM and other tools.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts for automation.
