Overview
Senior Operations Manager - Schools leads operational excellence across the LEAMS Education group, standardizing processes, strengthening compliance, improving cost control and ensuring smooth support services across all campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all group schools to ensure consistent, efficient and high‑quality service delivery.
- Implement, monitor and improve standardized operating procedures across administration, facilities, transport, health and safety and support services.
- Ensure school operations remain compliant with KHDA, MOE, DHA, Dubai Municipality and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operational functions including campus administration, facilities management, transportation, safety procedures, maintenance and support teams.
- Work closely with School Principals, senior leadership teams, MSO teams, procurement and the Group Head of Operations on operational planning and execution.
- Lead training and development initiatives for facilities, transport, maintenance and support service teams.
- Support budgeting, cost control, vendor coordination, resource planning and operational efficiency projects.
- Review operational performance, identify gaps and implement corrective action plans to improve service quality and compliance readiness.
- Prepare accurate operational reports, compliance summaries, performance dashboards and board‑level review documents.
- Coordinate responses to inspection findings and lead follow‑up action plans with relevant school and group teams.
- Manage multiple operational projects with competing priorities while maintaining deadlines, safety standards and service continuity.
- Strengthen governance across campuses through documentation control, process monitoring, reporting discipline and continuous improvement.
- Support sustainable growth by ensuring operational systems, staffing structures and support services are scalable across the education network.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
- NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years progressive operations leadership experience.
- At least 3 years experience within an educational group, school network or school operations environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of KHDA, MOE, DHA, Dubai Municipality compliance audits, inspections and regulatory documentation.
- Proven experience managing school operations across administration, facilities, transportation, health and safety and support services.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and team development skills.
- Ability to manage complex school operations in a fast‑paced, multi‑campus environment.
- Excellent organisational, reporting, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong cost optimisation skills with experience in budgeting, resource control and operational efficiency.
- High attention to detail with ability to manage compliance‑sensitive records and board‑level reporting.
- Proficiency in operational reporting systems, MS Excel, electronic spreadsheets and performance tracking tools.
- Professional, proactive and able to work closely with senior leadership while supporting school‑level operational teams.
