Job summary

Evollabs is seeking a hands-on DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to operate, secure, and improve primarily on-premises infrastructure, with strong Linux, identity management, virtualization, and networking focus. You will work in air-gapped environments, manage storage and containerization, and support developers across toolchains.

The role emphasizes security, least privilege, patching, and incident response within a fast-growing AI hardware organization in Dubai.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, or similar hands-on roles.
• Strong Linux administration across major distros (Ubuntu/Debian/RHEL equivalents).
• Experience with centralized identity and access management systems.
• Experience with on-premises infrastructure hardware lifecycle and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with virtualization platforms (Proxmox/VMware/KVM).
• Experience with NAS/shared storage (NFS/SMB/iSCSI) and backups.
• Hands-on Docker/containerization, private registries, and security.

Responsibilities

• Operate, secure, and improve primarily on-premises infrastructure.
• Manage virtualization, storage, networking, and system security.
• Support developers with environment issues and toolchains.
• Maintain air-gapped/offline repositories and trusted certificates.
• Implement monitoring/observability and incident response.
• Document root-cause analyses and cross-team troubleshooting.
