Job summary

Evollabs is seeking a hands-on SecOps Engineer to defend our Linux, macOS, and Windows environments across production and development systems. You will lead detection, hardening, and incident response while collaborating with DevOps and IT to embed security into daily workflows.

The role emphasizes implementing security baselines, managing IAM/SAML/LDAP, and tuning SIEM/GI systems, with a focus on practical, auditable security practices.

Qualifications

• Experience defending Linux systems (servers and containers).
• Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows security.
• Experience with IAM, MFA, and SSO solutions (Okta, Keycloak, Azure AD).
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, IDS/IPS.
• Hands-on with vulnerability scanning and patch management.
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to automate security tasks.
• Ability to interpret alerts from SIEM/IDS/monitoring systems.
• Clear communication with engineering and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across Linux, macOS, Windows.
• Manage IAM, MFA, and SSO integrations and privileged account management.
• Harden build servers, containers, and CI/CD pipelines against threats.
• Deploy and tune endpoint security, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, and SIEM.
• Monitor logs/telemetry (ELK, Grafana) to detect suspicious activity.
• Lead and document incident response: triage, containment, root-cause analysis, remediation.
• Collaborate with developers, IT, and DevOps to embed security into workflows.
• Maintain security documentation, runbooks, and playbooks for audits.
