Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static) for Greenfield offshore projects. You will lead static equipment engineering, review designs, and ensure compliance with ADNOC offshore standards through FEED, Detailed Engineering, and commissioning phases.

Role requires collaboration with multi-discipline teams, vendor coordination, and participation in design reviews and risk mitigation plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical activities related to static equipment for offshore facilities.
• Prepare and review design bases, datasheets, and specifications for static equipment.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables for vessels, heat exchangers, towers, storage, and separators.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore standards and international codes.
• Interface with Process, Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, and HSE disciplines.
• Support FAT, Mechanical Completion, and Pre-Commissioning activities.
